Returns & Refund Policy

We want you to be happy with your Madoww jewelry. If your purchase doesn't meet your expectations, you can return your items within 14 days of receiving them.

Returns sent from Finland are free of charge, regardless of the language used when placing your order.

1. Right of Withdrawal and Returns

You have the right to withdraw from your online purchase within 14 days of receiving your items, without giving any reason.

If your order is delivered in multiple shipments, the withdrawal period begins when you receive the final shipment.

You must notify us of your decision to withdraw within 14 days of receiving your items. You then have a further 14 days to send the items back.

You may withdraw from your entire order or return individual items. You may also cancel your order before delivery.

2. Condition of Returned Items

You may inspect and try on your jewelry to the same extent as you would in a physical store.

Please return your items in the best possible condition. We recommend returning your jewelry in its original jewelry boxes, together with all included components.

If an item has been handled or used beyond what is necessary to establish its nature, characteristics and functioning, and its value has decreased as a result, you may be responsible for the resulting loss in value. We may deduct the corresponding amount from your refund.

Simply opening the packaging does not affect your right of withdrawal.

3. How to Make a Return

Returns from Finland

If you are returning items from Finland, you can submit a return request through our online store, regardless of the language you used when placing your order.

1. Sign in using the email address associated with your order.

2. Select the order and the items you wish to return.

3. Submit your return request. You will automatically receive confirmation that we have received it.

4. We will process your request and send you an email with instructions for returning your items free of charge through Posti.

Your return instructions will include our Posti return agreement number and instructions for sending your parcel through a Posti service point or parcel locker.

Returns from other countries

If you are returning items from Germany, Sweden or any other country outside Finland, please contact us directly at info@madoww.com so we can arrange your return.

Include your name, order number and the items you wish to return. We will provide the return address in Finland and detailed shipping instructions by email.

Customers returning items from outside Finland are responsible for return shipping costs, unless the items are defective or were supplied incorrectly.

Your statutory right of withdrawal

You may notify us of your decision to withdraw from your purchase directly by email, regardless of your country. You do not need to give a reason.

You may also exercise your statutory right of withdrawal using our online withdrawal function. If you use this function, you will receive an automatic acknowledgement of your notice. Customers returning items from outside Finland should still contact us by email to arrange the actual return shipment.

The processing or approval of a return request does not restrict your statutory right of withdrawal.

Please pack your items carefully and keep your proof of postage until your return has been processed.

4. Return Shipping Costs

Returns sent from Finland are free of charge when shipped using our Posti return service in accordance with our instructions.

For returns sent from other countries, including Germany and Sweden, the customer is responsible for the direct cost of return shipping.

Please contact us at info@madoww.com before sending an international return. We will provide our return address and shipping instructions. You may use a shipping provider of your choice. We recommend using a tracked shipping service.

If an item is defective or we have sent you the wrong product, we will cover the necessary return shipping and delivery costs associated with resolving the issue, including for international orders.

Return shipping costs are determined by the country from which the parcel is sent, not by the language selected in our online store.

5. Refunds

We will refund payments using your original payment method without undue delay and no later than 14 days after receiving your notice of withdrawal.

However, we may withhold the refund until we have received the returned items or you have provided evidence that you have sent them back.

We inspect returned items upon arrival and process refunds within the time limits stated above.

If you withdraw from your entire order, we will also refund the original delivery charges up to the cost of our least expensive standard delivery option. Any additional charges for a more expensive delivery method will not be refunded.

For partial returns, we will refund the amount paid for the returned items, subject to any applicable promotional terms. Original delivery charges are generally not refunded for partial returns.

Free Shipping and Partial Returns in Finland

We offer free delivery within Finland on orders of €60 or more.

If your order qualified for free delivery and you return some items, bringing the value of the remaining items below €60, we may deduct €4.90 from your refund to cover the original delivery cost.

For example, if your order total was €79.80 and you return an item costing €29.90, the remaining items are worth €49.90. In this case, a delivery charge of €4.90 may be deducted, resulting in a refund of €25.00.

This is not a return shipping fee but a charge relating to the original delivery. Returns sent from Finland through Posti remain free of charge.

This condition applies only where the customer was informed of it before placing the order and to the extent permitted by applicable consumer protection laws.

Your payment provider may require additional processing time before the refund appears in your account.

6. Sale and Promotional Items

Items purchased on sale or as part of a promotion are also covered by the standard 14-day right of withdrawal.

If your order included a promotion requiring the purchase of multiple items, such as "3 for 2", a partial return may affect the promotional discount.

Refunds are calculated according to the promotional terms communicated before purchase.

If a promotion requires a minimum number of items or a minimum order value, and these requirements are no longer met after a partial return, the prices of the remaining items may be recalculated according to the promotional terms, provided that this condition was communicated before the order was placed and is permitted by applicable law.

Any resulting adjustment to the promotional discount will be reflected in the refund amount. The refund amount cannot be negative.

If a partial return affects both the promotional discount and eligibility for free delivery, any adjustments will be calculated according to the terms communicated at the time of purchase and applicable consumer protection laws.

If you return all items included in a promotion, your refund will be processed according to our standard withdrawal terms.

7. Uncollected Parcels

Failing to collect a parcel does not, in itself, constitute withdrawal from the purchase.

If a parcel is not collected and no notice of withdrawal has been submitted, we reserve the right to claim compensation for the actual and reasonable costs incurred as a result of the parcel being returned to us, where permitted by law.

If you are unable to receive or collect your order, please contact us as soon as possible.

8. Defective Items and Warranty

All Madoww jewelry comes with a two-year commercial warranty.

If your item develops a manufacturing or material defect during the warranty period, please contact us at info@madoww.com.

Include your order number, a description of the issue and, if possible, a photograph of the item.

We will assess the issue and, where applicable, arrange a repair, replacement or another appropriate remedy.

The commercial warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, accidental damage or damage caused by improper handling.

This warranty is an additional benefit and does not limit your statutory rights or the seller's legal liability for defective goods under applicable consumer protection laws.
